Host Turner Classic Movies Casablanca70th Anniversary Event, Mar. 21

 

WESTFIELD, N.J. (March 6, 2012) –Digiplex Destinations, a new and innovative chain of digital cinema theaters, has announced the “Casablanca 70th Anniversary Event.” The one-time-only two-hour showing is designed for fans of the classic 1942 Humphrey Bogart-Ingrid Bergman film and takes place on Wednesday, Mar. 21 at 7 p.m., at Digiplex theaters in New Jersey and Connecticut.

The presentation will begin with Turner Classic Movies host Robert Osborne taking audiences behind the scenes of this epic love story in a special original production showcasing stories from those who were on the set, as well as those who simply admire the film. This beautiful and timeless classic will then be shown on the silver screen, with full digital projection and sound. Tickets are $12.50.

Casablancais a classic tale of unrequited love and is a project that defined the “golden age” of Hollywood and allowed audiences to fall in love with cinema all over again. This event will be the only opportunity to see this stunning digital presentation grace the silver screen.
